Haha, right. I just wrote about Stanford last week, and there’s no way I’m going to write about the Earthquakes or SJSU. Or the Raiders if they aren’t on TV. That’s like expecting me to write about all the local high schools, the California Redwoods, USF and Levi Leipheimer. There’s a recipe for a winning sports blog.

I’d care more about the Sharks, but I never played hockey.

My goal is to keep the audience interested. Even including the Sharks, not much interest in the teams you mentioned.

hey, dont be sorry about living in SF thats not the problem. the problem is you call yourself “bay area sports guy” then you should cover bay area sports teams,right? search the web and give us some news of the raiders, a’s , cal, stanford, sharks, sjsu, earthquakes and so forth. you only post niners, giants and warriors stuff. Get on the ball dude or re-name your webite “49ers and giants with occasional warriors guy!”

Bobby Crosby won the AL Rookie of the Year, too.

No ROY award in any sport has less importance nowadays than the ones handed out in Major League Baseball every year. The best rookies get called up in August and play too much over the last couple of months to qualify for the award in their first full seasons.

I’m sorry, I live in San Francisco. That means I didn’t see the game between the Raiders and Bengals.

Yay Raiders, way to screw up your draft position.

As for Raiders info, I’m hoping “The Man In White” can speak on behalf of the Silvah and Black, since he’s in Bakersfield and was probably able to watch the game that less than 35,000 people attended.
