The 49ers released their list of inactives at 4 pm:
- QB Josh Johnson
- CB Tramaine Brock (injured)
- RT Anthony Davis (injured)
- G/C Marcus Martin (injured)
- DL Demarcus Dobbs
- WR Brandon Lloyd
- WR Quinton Patton
A few changes from last week. Kassim Osgood is on the team, and he took Brandon Lloyd’s spot. Quinton Dial and Tank Carradine went from inactive to active, with Demarcus Dobbs a healthy inactive (presumably). Chris Cook is in for Tramaine Brock, who’s dealing with turf toe.
The 49ers are going with six defensive linemen after using five last week. Ray McDonald led the team in snaps with 60, and he was listed on the active roster as expected. We’ll see if Bruce Ellington gets some touches as the team’s third running back. I’m thinking we’re in for a big day for Carlos Hyde.
Anthony Davis was on the field before the game with strength and conditioning coach Mark Uyeyama, but he’ll sit for another week.

Bears inactives:
- WR Josh Morgan
- LB Khaseem Greene
- C Roberto Garza
- G Matt Slauson
- T Charles Leno
- DE Davis Bass
- DE Cornelius Washington
As Adam Schefter reported about 10 minutes before the official announcement, Brandon Marshall will be active. So will Alshon Jeffery.
The 49ers are favored by seven points, and if they win they’ll be in a first place tie with the Cardinals. The Seahawks lost 27-21 in San Diego.
