Unless you’re made of money like Ruthless Sports Guy, who bought tickets to see the 49ers face the Packers at Candlestick Park, you’re probably going to watch the game on TV. And unless you’re made of money like Ruthless Sports Guy, you probably wouldn’t mind getting some free food. Oh boy, do I have good news for you!

BASG Koozies black red49ers Playoff Party and 5th Anniversary

We were supposed to celebrate five years of existence back on Dec. 16 when the 49ers were to face the New England Patriots, but both my wife and I got the flu in the hours leading up to the party so we had to cancel. So we’re going to try this again.

We’ll be at Northstar Cafe (on the corner of Powell and Green in San Francisco) watching the Niners face the Packers. We’ll be handing out BASG koozies, and that’s not all! The game starts at 5 pm, and Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria will come by at 4:30 with an assortment of delicious thin crust pies. So make sure to get there early, because the pizza won’t last through the first quarter.

Also, if you happen to be one of those Facebooking people and plan on attending the event, please go to the event page and RSVP. That’ll help us figure out a headcount (and how many pizzas to beg for from Amici’s).

Amici's East Coast PizzeriaBut what if you want to eat free pizza at home?

Glad you asked. We’re giving out a 10-person pizza party (NFC Championship Game, perhaps?) to one lucky reader. To win, here’s what you have to do…

In the comments, answer the following question:

If the 49ers beat the Packers, which matchup would be more advantageous and why — playing against Atlanta in the Georgia Dome or facing Seattle at Candlestick Park?

And since it’s Amici’s 25th Anniversary (they’ve been around a little longer than BASG), we’re also going to give out an Amici’s T-Shirt to the winner of this contest. Good luck!
