BASGcast (Ep. 120): Andrew Baggarly on leaving CSN Bay Area, Giants offseason

After announcing he’s leaving CSN Bay Area, Andrew Baggarly joined Bay Area Duck Guy and Bay Area Sports Guy to talk about his time with CSN, how media has changed and what the future holds for him personally.

Then, the guys discuss what’s up with the Giants starting rotation in free agency and where all the Pablo Sandoval money is going to go.

Why did he apologize (recant) for the Melky Cabrera story?

That writer lost much credibility in the Bay Area. You cannot hide this fact.

Will forever stain him.

He's going to start a sports media company with Mychael Urban? One can dream.

I'm glad hese gone couldn't stand him after he called my coliseum a dump. Only fans that go to the coliseum can call it a dump it's our home and we protect it. So good written to him.

@coliseum finest It is a dump and an actual sewer, but otherwise it's a great place to catch a ball game.

@coliseum finest I go to the Coliseum.  I'm an A's Fan.  It is an ABSOLUTE DUMP.  The Coliseum NOT the A's.

@coliseum finest Its our dump, No bells and whistles but i'm paying to watch A's baseball, not play on the slide or stare at a giant coke bottle and glove....excited to see what our new scoreboard is going to look like......

What is Bay Area Sports Guy?

It is the top independent sports site covering the teams that play in the best sports region in the United States. BASG is not an ordinary fan blog. It is a place where sports news is broken and analyzed by writers with access who are not afraid to question the status quo, writers who also produce original content in the form of videos, photographs and podcasts.
