If I recall the 9ers defense won that game, you can't count on interceptions or fumbles. Kaepernick only helped score 17 points. The Saints scored 21 even with a faux paux by Brees, so I wouldn't crown the "Kap" king just yet. Two games is a small sample size and if he gets blown up......just sayin'.

Common, if you can't see Team Kap is better you better...his reads are faster; which means longer yardage plays.he does not get sacked, he makes the defense pay for blitzing, and opens up the running game even more. Plus he can throw people open.

The way and as often as QB's go down in the NFL..dont think CK will hold the job from this point on. Alex is right there..

I want to remind people that want Kaep start for the niners: any QB can have a career game or even career year Matt Cassel ? Remember him? Yeah, he won 11 games for the Pats after Brady went down. He had a great season for the Pats. Cam Newton? Remember him ? people were laughing at NFL scouts for missing out on him. Matt Lynch ? Remember him? he had a career day for greenbay. Seattle signed him and now he is on the bench behind a rookie QB. The list goes on and on. I am not saying that Smith is your answer but be careful what you wish for.
