It was the perfect end to a perfectly surreal evening.
Ekpe Udoh started and scored 19 points, which made everyone at Oracle wish Andris Biedrins would call in sick more often — instead of simply playing like he has mono. The Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 104-97, Blake Griffin’s most memorable moment came when he airballed a free throw, and Too $hort performed “Blow the Whistle” during a timeout in the third quarter.
After the game, the Bay Area’s Dave Chappelle (he’s pretty much a local by now, isn’t he?) came down to the Warriors locker room and chatted with Stephen Curry.
Everyone seemed pretty excited to meet him, but nobody went into full Chappelle mode like … wait for it … Nate Robinson. Here’s a little video I shot of the postgame scene. It’s kind of tough to tell what Chappelle and Curry are saying, but as always, it’s easy to hear Nate in the background.
