According to an NFL.com writer, Terrelle Pryor will see some more playing time this season.
Pryor is going to play. The question is whether it’s in limited “Pryor” packages, or if he’s given an opportunity to start again.
“I think we want to try to see more of (Pryor) at some point,” Allen said Friday, via CSN Bay Area. “Injuries are a tough thing. They’re hard to account for. You don’t know how things are going to respond and how quickly people are going to get back.
“With the short week, and again, only having 20 plays in the second half, we weren’t able to get him involved in the offense,” Allen added. “But I think that’s something we want to look at moving forward, but we’ll see how that plays out.”
I wonder what those “Pryor packages” are, and when those situations would arise? Can you think of a situation where Pryor would’ve been a better option against the Cowboys?
I feel like he needs to show that he can consistently make passes, or run to the left before he’s an excellent situational weapon. Until then, defensive coordinators will stack the right side or force the pass when TP trots out onto the field.
