“This game is really important to them. It’s more important to them than it is to us,” said Steve Kerr before the second quarter, when his Warriors were down 30-18. Kerr also mentioned that “it shows,” and he was right. Blake Griffin was doing whatever he wanted without having to worry about Draymond Green, and the Warriors missed a lot of easy shots.
Steph Curry led the charge in the second quarter, which ended with the Clippers ahead 53-46. But just as Kerr mentioned, the game (and, by extension, the score) isn’t really important to the Warriors. In fact, the Warriors could lose this game by 15 and not one Warriors fan will remember much of anything from this game other than Curry turning Chris Paul into a pretzel. So here are four vines, including two (#2 and #3) from my friend @warriorsworld.
And to cap it off, here’s Leandro “We Gonna Be Championship” Barbosa’s reaction:
And we might as well add this, because Lance is a welcome addition to any big moment.
