What appeared to be true a few days ago has now been confirmed by Santa Cruz District Attorney Bob Lee.
The District Attorney’s office will not charge the Giants third baseman after they and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department could not find sufficient evidence to charge Sandoval, it was announced Monday.
Still, Sandoval’s image has been smudged a bit, even if he is not being charged.
However, Sandoval may not be completely out of hot water as his attorney, Eric Geffon, was mum when speaking with Jim Kozimor on Chronicle Live on if the Santa Cruz woman would pursue civil charges against Sandoval.

I suggest we get together to create a fund to bring over a female Panda from China to mate with...keep him out of trouble. What? isn't that what they lovingly call overweight woman there?
And people were so quick to crucify him here when the investigation was first announced. Let's move on and get back to Panda baseball.
I believe most of the criticism was, why is he out at 2:00 AM Partying...Carousing...EATING!!! instead of rehabbing like the Giants thought he was doing. My hunch is this girl was out for a money grab, but you will never really know. These he said she said cases are hard to prove. You know darn well there will be a civil case, more than likely will be settled out of court. So Tony go put your Panda Hat on and enjoy the rest of the season.
