It’s cold in Green Bay, as you may have heard. But from the press box, the surroundings don’t look so bad. (Photo via Matt Barrows on Instagram):
But after taking a look at the photo below … let’s just say we should all be really glad we didn’t plan a trip to Green Bay to watch this game in person.

Turns out that photo is actually an ice fugazi, as it was originally posted on the Packers’ Instagram account two weeks ago. I’ve been had! That dirty rotten JakeInWisconsin, I’ll show him.
It’s still cold as hell though, and it’s also windier than what was previously forecasted.
Weather.com says the temperature at 10:24 am PST is 6 degrees, which is also the high for today according to the forecast. So maybe it’ll get warmer than what they thought by the afternoon, like a nice toasty 10 or 11 degrees. But here’s a bit of bad news for both quarterbacks and the placekickers: the winds, which were supposed to be in the 7-to-9 mph range, are currently at 14 mph and could get close to 20 mph. That’ll also make it feel colder at Lambeau as well, with the whole wind-chill factor thing ruining everyone’s day.
