According to the Denver Examiner, the 49ers have  a trade in place to send this year’s first and third round picks, Mark Roman (now I’m suspicious), Alex Smith and next year’s second rounder to the Broncos for Jay Cutler.

If this is true, the 49ers should be dancing in the streets. If it isn’t true, well, let’s just say it wouldn’t be surprising.

I’m off to something called the St. Stupid’s Parade in downtown SF. Hopefully by the time I get back Cutler will officially be a 49er!
