Take a survey, win a prize!

Back in August, Bryan Srabian (Director of Social Media for the San Francisco Giants) asked me to come speak at a class he was teaching at USF. After I talked about blogging and social media for an hour or so, I chatted with a student in the class named Sam Cohn. If you have a moment, check out his project and take the survey. You can even win a prize. Sam, take it away!

Dear Bay Area Sports Fans,

Like you, I love most (and sometimes all) things Bay Area sports.  Growing up on the Peninsula in a family of sports fans, I’ve been a Giants and 49ers fan since birth.

After working as a paramedic for eight years, in 2010 I decided to pursue my dream of working in sports and enrolled in the Sport Management program at the University of San Francisco.  My final requirement for my degree is to complete my master’s project.

We all know what it’s like to be at the ballpark and wish things were more convenient.  Less waiting for concessions, easier access to in-game replays, a better sense of where to park or enter unfamiliar stadiums and even an idea of a specific ballparks attractions and how to maximize our fan experience.

This is the essence of my final project.

In order to complete this project, I need hundreds of survey responses.  Bay Area Sports Guy has been kind enough to reach out to his readers to assist me.

For every twenty readers who fill out a survey, I’m offering a $10 gift card to randomly selected respondents to the business of your choice (up to $100).  If they offer a way to e-mail the card, I’ll do it.  Starbucks, Amazon and Target are just a few retailers who do that.

Click this link, and then post anything in the comments section on BASG.  I will use a random number generator to select the winners.

Thanks in advance for your help.  A few of you will be rewarded with a small token of my appreciation.  I hope that in the future we are all rewarded with a better fan experience.

What is Bay Area Sports Guy?

It is the top independent sports site covering the teams that play in the best sports region in the United States. BASG is not an ordinary fan blog. It is a place where sports news is broken and analyzed by writers with access who are not afraid to question the status quo, writers who also produce original content in the form of videos, photographs and podcasts.
