Halloween is on a Saturday this year, so it’s probably a good thing Cal plays USC at noon at Memorial Stadium instead of 7:30 pm (the kickoff time for last weekend’s Stanford/UW game, a game we attended and left early in the fourth quarter, which still got us home at midnight).
And guess what? Just like we did a month ago, we have some Cal tickets to give away! Three pairs, to be exact.
Want to watch a game that’ll probably feature a ton of points? Vegas has the over/under in the high 60s (I’ve seen anywhere from 67.5 to 69.5), USC has scored 40+ points in every one of their games besides the 17-12 home loss to Washington. The Trojans average 39 points per game; Cal averages 38.
Here’s how you can win a pair of tickets and see some touchdowns.

Contest question: With two consecutive road losses, Jared Goff has fallen out of the Heisman race. Who was the last Cal player to finish in the top-10 in Heisman voting?
***
Here’s a hint, because it’s kind of a trick question … two Cal players finished in the top-10 in the same year, and no one has broken into the top-10 since.
If no one gets the answer to this question correct by noon tomorrow (remember — you only need to name one of the two), I’ll add another hint in the comments. But judging on the response to our last contest, there are enough diehard Cal fans out there that people will figure this out fairly quickly.
If you enter the contest, pay attention! I’m going to pick the first three winners (either in the comments under this post, on Twitter, or on Facebook), and I’ll reply to each winner with a request for your email address. That way I can send your contact info to the Cal folks, so you can get your tickets in Will Call. Good luck!
