I have to admit I didn’t watch any of last night’s Warriors/Bobcats game. Actually that isn’t completely true, as I saw about ten seconds of highlights near the end of the pub crawl we were on.
I have to say, I’d never been on a real pub crawl before last night, and it was pretty fun. Sure, I’ve been a part of outings that were supposed to be “pub crawls,” but inevitably every time the group would end up staying at the first or second bar for the entire evening. Not this group. We had a ringleader who would make sure everyone finished the drink in their hand and got their respective butts to the next place.
Anyway, so all I had to find out what happened last night was in the various game recaps and the box score, where I noticed that like a lot of the people I saw on last night’s pub crawl, Jamal Crawford’s planned day off was completely wasted.
44 minutes for C.J. Watson? 22 minutes for Marco Belinelli? 16 minutes for Anthony Morrow and only 7 minutes for Tony Randolph? I’d get upset about Ronny Turiaf only playing 12 minutes, but he’s dealing with an ankle sprain and probably should have gotten a day off along with Crawford.
With Watson on the floor nearly the entire game, raining a 3-for-10 shooting night and 3 assists on the Oracle faithful, it isn’t surprising that Ray Felton went off for 26 points and 9 assists.
I can’t wait for Stephen Jackson’s night off tomorrow, when Nellie will play a lineup consisting of Watson, Crawford, Kelenna Azubuike, Andris Biedrins and Corey Maggette for 48 minutes.
