The Nielsen numbers for San Francisco were made public last week, and clearly a World Series championship, parade and the resulting afterglow helped KNBR 680.

Radio ramblings
— 95.7 The Game is still listed as the Oakland A’s flagship station on the team’s website. No word on whether that arrangement will continue next season, however.
— “Flight 957 scheduled to take off Dec. 8,” according to The Game’s website. I’m sure everyone who comments regularly will have some thoughts on that show.
— The Towny and Zakariah Show is already on the air. Again, I’m sure the commenters will have some thoughts. As for me, I’ve barely listened to any sports talk in the past month. So for those who say I’m getting paid by KNBR (haha, I wish), you can’t blame me for that November ratings figure.
— I talked to someone recently who works for 95.7, and it’s not just the listeners who have a hard time understanding why Jason Barrett changes the programming lineup every few months. “I’ve never worked anywhere where it was like this,” was what I was told by this person, who thinks a little continuity might help the station in the long run.
