A cynic might look at the final score (Angels 2, Athletics 1) and the number of innings it took to get to that final score (14) and complain. We had to wait that long for a Collin Cowgill walk-off homer?
But Yoenis Cespedes kept this game tied longer than it had any right to be tied, with a throw that seemed to defy physics and will certainly be remembered much longer than some Angels win in extra innings.

This throw represents every high school legend you’ve heard about Bo Jackson.
What this GIF doesn’t show is how Cespedes let Mike Trout’s double glance off his glove. Or, how nonchalantly he retrieved the ball. Or, the face Cespedes made after throwing the ball 300 feet in the air to nail Howie Kendrick.
